ABS VOID FORMWORKS
FAST, EASY AND SIMPLE
ABS Void Formworks are disposable plastic formworks that create reinforced concrete raised floors up to 300 cm. They are the lightest, fastest and most economical fill solution for lightweight fill applications. More than 3,500,000 m² has been installed worldwide across 20+ countries.
What are ABS Void Formworks?
ABS Void Formworks are concrete-shaping structures made of recycled plastic that are only used once. Also known as disposable formworks, void formers, permanent formworks or single-use formworks, they create reinforced concrete raised floors up to 300 cm, offering a lightweight, fast, easy and economical fill solution for any structure. Compared to conventional fill applications, reinforced concrete raised floors constructed with ABS Void Formworks are faster and easier to build, lighter in weight, and more cost-effective.
ABS Void Formworks can be used for any sort of lightweight fill application. Uses include sunken slab fills, landscape fills, amenity floor construction, inverted beam fills, fills between foundation footings, car park ramps, swimming pool decks, elevator and staircase hallway fills, crawl space construction, low-voltage distribution rooms, rainwater harvesting and flood prevention.
ABS Plus and ABS Level
ABS Plus is the adjustable-height void formwork system for lightweight reinforced concrete fills from 20 cm to 300 cm. ABS Level is the fixed-height system for thinner raised floors at 5 cm, 10 cm and 15 cm. Both systems are made from recycled polypropylene and create a mostly hollow floor so the structure carries topping concrete rather than the full mass of traditional fill.
